School Counseling goes beyond the Counseling Office and this blog is dedicated to using collaboration as a bridge between guidance/school counselors, teachers and the school community. Together we can identify trends and strategies that are current and relevant to today’s schools and can positively enhance both the student experience, as well as, school staff community.
Since December of 2006, I have been working as a School Guidance Counselor for the New York City Department of Education NYC DOE. My certifications include: New York State Permanent Certification in School Counseling, New York State School Building Leader Certification, and New York State School District Leader Certification.
